SKB CPNS of Perpusnas Held in Accordance with the Covid-19 Prevention Health Protocol

Cawang, Jakarta - The National Library of Indonesia held a Field Competency Selection (SKB) for the Candidates for Civil Servants (CPNS) Formation 2019. This Computer Assisted Test (CAT) based selection took place from September 2 to September 23, 2020 in 12 cities throughout Indonesia.

Head of the Bureau of Human Resources and General Affairs Ahmad Masykuri said as many as 132 people followed the SKB and later 57 people would be selected to fill 19 positions. "The SKB test will be held in several areas, which in Jakarta has started today with as many as 69 people. It started right at 14.30 WIB, but an hour earlier the participants were already here and had started registration," he explained on the side-lines of the SKB which took place at the Central State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Office, Cawang, Jakarta, on Saturday (9/5/2020).

In order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 disease, the SKB is carried out in accordance with health protocols, starting from the queuing process, checking body temperature, to conducting exams. "Earlier, for example, someone had a temperature of 37 degree of Celsius, so we let him took a break first, it turned out that he was too hot because he was riding a motorcycle taxi. Well, after a break, the temperature had come down. So, don't let any of these prospective participants get the virus," he explained.

Ahmad explained that the SKB was held in 12 cities, namely Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Makassar, Banjarmasin, Palembang, Semarang, Padang, Pontianak, Lampung and Mataram. This distribution is carried out for effectiveness and efficiency so that it is close to the participants' hometowns. In pandemic conditions, being able to choose the nearest city makes it easier for participants so they don't have to take a risky trip. 

After the SKB, he said, the scores of the Basic Competency Selection (SKD) and SKB will be accumulated by BKN. "We just need to receive the results from BKN. The announcement is planned to be out for the end of October," he said.

The SKD CPNS Formation Year 2019 in the National Library of Indonesia environment took place in early 2020. A total of 2,158 participants did the CAT-based SKD which took place in Jakarta on February 18, 2020, Makassar on February 22, 2020, Padang on February 24, 2020, and Yogyakarta on March 4-5 2020.

SKD participants who meet the minimum score according to the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Number 24 of 2019 are ranked in the top three according to the formation that has been applied for.

Participants who pass will be placed at the Jakarta Head Office, namely Salemba and Medan Merdeka Selatan, as well as the Bung Karno Library UPT in Blitar.
