60 National Library ASNs Receives Satyalencana Karya Satya Award

Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta - A total of 60 ASNs of National Library of Indonesia (Pepusnas) received Satyalencana Karya Satya award from Indonesian government. The award signed by President Joko Widodo is based on a Presidential Decree (Keppres) dated June 17 with Number 44 / TK / 2020 on Awarding of Satyalencana Karya Satya. Director of National Library, Muhammad Syarif Bando, presented Satyalencana Karya Satya before attending a virtual ceremony to commemorate Indonesia's 75th years of independence on Monday (17/8).

In the excerpt of the Presidential Decree, it is stated that the award is given by the government on the basis of continuous dedication, honesty, skill, and discipline for a period of at least 10, 20, and 30 years of working age. The 60 ASNs who received the award includes 30 ASNs with a service period of 30 years, 4 ASNs with a service period of 20 years, and 26 ASNs with a service period of 10 years of service.

In her initial remarks, Prime Secretary of National Library of Indonesia, Woro Titi Haryanti, said that this awarding should be grateful for because it is a form of gratitude from the state. "Make it as a driving force, motivation for other ASN colleagues to continue to serve the nation with full dedication," said Woro Titi shortly before the embedding.

Meanwhile, Director of National Library reminded that this award is special because it was chosen among 4 million ASNs throughout Indonesia. However, no one knows the truth of all the award prerequisites written other than those concerned. "Parameters of discipline, honesty, accountability, which only known by himself and God," concluded Director of National Library.
