Archives Assessment Result, National Library of Indonesia Gets a Satisfactory Score from National Archives of Indonesia (ANRI)

Cilandak, Jakarta - The National Library of Indonesia (Perpusnas) specifically visited the National Archives of Indonesia (ANRI) on Monday (11/11). On this work visit, the two parties carried out a number of agendas related to static archives and archival guidelines.

The Collaboration Synergy Agenda between ANRI and National Library in the field of archives and literacy begins with embedding a shawl from Acting Head of ANRI, M. Taufik, to the Director of National Library, Muhammad Syarif Bando, as a symbol of brotherhood. Then, both parties signed the Minutes of Submission on Guidelines Draft for Archiving of National Library and Minutes of Static Archives Handover. Then, ANRI handed over a certificate of appreciation for the participation of National Library in saving and preserving valuable archives for national responsibility to the life of society, nation and state.

At the end of the agenda, the Acting Head of ANRI submitted the result of an external archival assessment to the National Library. "The National Library gets grade A, with a value of 80.19 which means it is satisfying," explained M. Taufik.

In his short remarks, Acting Head of ANRI said that archives and library both play an important role in the nation's civilization. Without archives and library, the country will not be proud of. And a nation will not exist without archives, Taufik termed.
