School Needs Enrichment Books Not Package Books

Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta - The literacy movement has been launched by Tanggamus Regency, Lampung. The education sector is one of the concerns of Tanggamus Regency Regional People's Representative Assembly (DPRD). A total budget of 5% for the development of school library in accordance with the mandate of the Law has not been well implemented. As a result, students is lacking in knowledge enrichment.

"The books that should be provided are enrichment books. Not a package books," explained Deputy of Library Resources Development, Woro Titi Haryanti, in front of 20 members of Tanggamus Regency DPRD, in Jakarta, Thursday (3/12).

Enrichment books will increase the horizon of students' knowledge so that it can act as helpful references. This is a great benefit from school library because the knowledge gained from internet may not yet be a scientific reference. Maybe the source is less valid and so on, added Woro.
