This was conveyed by Head of the Commission I of Musi Rawas Regency DPRD, Hermansyah Syamsiar, during a work visit and comparative study to the National Library, Monday (1/6).
to get input, information and data related to efforts in increasing public reading interest and ability to form quality human resources. One of them is related to proposing assistance for the construction of library building.
"To increase reading interest, of course, a solution is needed; we are pessimistic if there are no facilities. So we want to get information regarding the proposal of library building assistance through Special Allocation Funds (DAK) assistance. Currently we are allocating funds for a new library of 1.6 billion from the Regional Income and Expenditure Budget (APBD) funds," he explained.
Head of the Library Development and Reading Interest Assessment Center (P3MB) for National Library of Indonesia, Deni Kurniadi explained, through DAK assistance the local government could propose various assistances. Among them, construction, renovation of library building, ICT assistance, furniture to book collection.
"To propose DAK for building construction, which needs to be considered is that there must be a land certificate and the land is in good ownership. We don’t want later when you have received the assistance, it constrained with certification. Besides, Detailed Engineering Design (DED) also needs to be prepared," he explained.
On the occasion, Deni reminded, to get DAK, the local government must propose an application by filling out the requirements through KRISNA application. "The cycle for proposing the assistance through KRISNA application can start in February to June. So if Musi Rawas Utara wants building construction assistance, you can immediately proposing to apply for DAK assistance," he added.
