Pagar Alam Regency Asked to Take Advantage of DAK

Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta - While other regions are competing to submit the special allocation funds (DAK), Pagar Alam Regency has not yet been recorded as a DAK recipient. National Library claimed not to know the reason for the absence of Pagar Alam Regency in the list of DAK recipient regions until 2020. Is it due to the incomplete requirements or not yet intended to submit.

This was asked by the Head of Library Development Center and Reading Interest Assessment (P3MB) of National Library Deni Kurniadi when receiving Pagar Alam Regency DPRD visit led by the Chair of Commission Tohari on Thursday (10/31).

"We want to know the reason. But unfortunately, the library service office is not here. Even though half of the National Library Budget is for regions. Plus, the DAK which value reaches hundreds of billions is completely for libraries development in the regions," said Deni Kurniadi.

Through DAK, local governments can submit a variety of assistance that are provided in KRISNA applications, such as construction, expansion, renovation of library building, ICT assistance, furniture, to collections. In 2020, 30 library buildings will be built in 30 regions. Greater than 2019.

"We understand that the amount of allocation for library activities in regions varies. Depending on PAD received. So, we hope that Pagar Alam Regency starts preparing to apply for DAK 2021. Please fill in anything. Take advantage of every type of assistance that are already provided," added Deni.
