Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta - National Library in collaboration with Cityscape Community Lover Indonesia held cityscape photography talk show and workshop on 24th floor of National Library Service Facility, Friday, September 6, 2019.
Present as the speaker was the owner of ATM Photography Agustinus Tri Mulyadi. Agustinus is known for his cityscape genre photo specialisation. On his presentation Agustinus conveyed his experience in making photography a hobby that produces. "This is a fun hobby to do. If it is done seriously it will make money." At least the hobby can generate money to finance the hobby itself, "Agustinus said.
In addition to deepening photography skills and technique, forming or joining a community is also required to expand the network. "An extensive network helps us meet people who are more skilful, and we can learn from them," added Augustine. “Don't forget, marketing skill must always be honed; promoting the abilities already owned and maintaining others’ trust by being a good person.”
At the end part of the material, all workshop participants were given the opportunity to practise their photography techniques and skills from the uppermost floor of National Library service facility.
The talk show and workshop activities are series of Perpusnas Expo 2019 events that take place on 5 - 22 September 2019. The series of events are aimed at strengthening literacy for welfare through social inclusion-based library transformation.
