Facebook Suggests that National Library Upload More Video Content
Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta—Facebook (FB) ever since its existence in 2007 has continued to experience an increase in user. Indonesia is one of Facebook’s most users. Not less than 115 million Indonesians access Facebook. 111 million of them access Facebook via mobile.
Over time, Facebook users are no longer inform or update status using text, photo or video. Manager of Facebook Political and Government Outreach for Asia Pacific, Noudhy Valdryno, estimates that soon people will turn to Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies.
In general, VR and AR are technologies aiming to stimulate perceptions and senses of its user. “VR and AR technologies allows user to experience being in another world and interacting in it,” said Ryno.
Until June 2019, the number of National Library Facebook fans is around 53,405 people. Ryno explained, the types of media that National Library uploaded the most in sequence are photos, links and videos. In fact, the content that is more preferred in society today is in video format. There are four keys to create an interesting content, namely authenticity which means natural, interactive, up to date, and consistent.
Meanwhile to address hater or hate speech, National Library can apply filters to filter out certain words or terms. "But in general, National Library should respond to any criticism and input with a cool head, except those coming from fake accounts or bots," suggested Ryno.
