Socialisation of Goods/Services Procurement Regulation in Regards of the Issuance of PP No. 16/2018

Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta – The issuance of President Regulation No. 16/2018 on Governmental Goods/Services Procurement inisiated National Library of Indonesia Procurement Service Unit to cooperate with Governmental Goods/Service Procurement Policy Agency in holding Socialisation of Governmental Goods/Services Procurement Regulation located in National Library of Indonesia Multiuse Room 4th floor, Medan Merdeka Selatan Street No.11 on Thursday (31/1). The occasion was attended by Director of National Library of Indonesia Muhammad Syarif Bando, Major High Official, Intermediate High Officials, First High Officials, Administrator, Supervisor, PPK staff and Auditor of National Library of Indonesia.

In her opening remarks, Prime Secretary Sri Sumekar expected the socialisation provides new insights for all staff, especially those involve in goods/services procurement at National Library of Indonesia. Sri Sumekar explained that goods/services procurement at National Library of Indonesia in 2018 reached IDR 465,076,327,000 of total IDR 584,933,638,000 budget or 80% of budget limit. “We realise we have great responsibility in spending budget given by the state in achieving state’s goal through the programmes or activities we perform,” said National Library of Indonesia Prime Secretary.

Sri continued that goods/services procurement at National Library of Indonesia should go through such stages as planning, budgeting, goods/services procurement, and actuating the activities based on existing legislation. “I leave this message to all participants so as to take it seriously and attentively all explanation delivered by speakers, which will then be applied in programme/activities implementation well and in accordance with the procedures,” advised Sri as she closed her remarks.
